Photography

I was doing a bit of experimentation, to see if you could do decent dodging and burning in Lightroom. So I picked this ancient picture.
This is was one of the 1st pictures I ever took on my SLR, and as I didn't know what I was doing, the original is only a JPG.
Still, I ran it through photomatix for a laugh. The original was as bad as you can imagine a complete novice with a brand new SLR would take. Completely black trees and over-burnt sky and leaves. I'm really surprised its managed to pull soo much details out of the JPG.

Zippo Circus

Quick photo I made while trying to capture some lightning shots. Completely failed as the lightning wasn't consistent enough, so thought I'd practise some more HDR trickery.

My 1st HDR picture. Could be better, as was taken through dirty glass.. but there ya go, it was snowing and cold outside..

Heres a picture I took one very early wintery morning from my bathroom skylight on the Holga.

Got up really early today.. so thought I'd sort out some new pics.. About time I did.. Anyway.. I love sunset pics, so I've uploaded a few I 've done in the last year or so on my photo site.
