Did a mix the other day as I haven't been doing any practising for ages. I rarely find myself with the time to even listen to the tracks, and its quite apparent in this mix. The tracks are nice, but I'm not happy with the transitions. They're beatmatched fine, but need more practise. That said, the tracks are really cool tho. So I'll stick it up anyway. I still listened to it at work about 6 times.
Tracklisting:
1. Lost Witness vs Pierre Pienaar - Sanguine (original mix)
2. Nature One inc - Wake Up In Yellow (atb and josh gallaha mix)
3. Nic Chagall - What You Need (marvo v remix)
4. Armin van Buuren ft. Justine Suissa - Burned With Desire (rising star dub mix)
5. Onova - Nivius (original mix)
6. Midway - Amazon (carl b remix)

Went to the Devizes Beer Festival on Saturday with Niknak and some friends. Was really cool, soo many barrels of beer lined up in a tent to sample. Had some rather delicious cherry beer which tasted alot like cherry cola and apple beer and various ciders too. Unfortunately the rain was a bit rubbish, so we ended up hot footing it to a local pub for food n more drinks.
Heres a pic of me standing next to a very tall Matt in the rain holding my Devizes Beer Festival half pint tankard.
On the way back we stopped off to take a pic of Stonehenge.

Not my birthday, it was Nikki's 30th! We flew to Paris for 2 days to celebrate her third decade complete. Took a shedload of pictures, including some Holga ones which I haven't gotten around to developing yet. The weather seemed to sense us coming. It was a misty drizzly start, but we went for food as soon as we got there, and by the time we finished the sun was coming out. Fantastic weather from then on, until we were back on the bus towards the airport. I even got a bit sunburnt over there
Didn't manage to get up the Eiffel tower unfortunately. 1st day, the queues were massive, and a load of armed guards around as well. Decided to come back early in the morning to get up, but even then the queues were hours long again. Someting todo next time we're over there.

A Happy New Years to everyone!
Seeing as it was my birthday and New Years Eve, Nikki and I decided to go upto London for 2 days. We booked a rather nice hotel to stay in, and went to Ministry of Sound for the New Years event. Pete Tong was playing, live on Radio 1 as well. Was a good night, but the music was a bit too housey for our liking. Would've been soo much better if he'd slipped some trance in there as well. The music, even as it stands for House was quite disapointing to be honest. Still, was good all the same.
On New Years day, we decided to do a bit of sightseeing around London. We first went to the Natural History Museum. The dinosaur exhibit was really cool! Didn't realise just how big some of those beasts were! After that we went down to Westminster to see Big Ben, the houses of Parliament, and the London Eye. They look really cool when lit up on an evening.
Back to work tomorrow...
Here's a few pictures of the last few days. Click them to go to my photography page.

Howdo folks.. Starting to settle in nicely.. Heres a pic or two, of the living room, before we'd sorted stuff out.
The window view is quite impressive, but you cant tell from nighttime, but we have a 7th floor 200 degree view from Isle of Wight, right round past the harbour, to Spinaker Tower. Quite cool!
Still waiting for sofa and TV to arrive, but enjoying it immensly. House warming party imminent

Went to see Paul Oakenfold play at Southampton Uni last Wednesday. I didn't know what to expect at first, as I'm not really feeling his latest Perfecto tour sets. Has to be said though, he was absoutely awesome! The venue was perfect, small, only about 200 people tops.. Nice little University hall, was like having Oakenfold in your own living room!
Unfortunately it all went 'Pete Tong' only 40 minutes into his set. Some idiot set the fire alarm off and we all had to be evacuated into the freezing cold! Standing outside for ages, then when the fire alarm was finally reset, it was too late to resume and it was all over.. Utterly gutted!!
Anyway, managed to get my picture taken with him!
